The problem usually occurs after the email window has already been opened, but is currently behind the web browser window that you are currently using. Each time you click on the email link, the email does display, but it displays in the window behind the one that you are currently using.
Try clicking on one of the tasks listed in taskbar at the bottom of your computer in order to bring that window to the front. If you are using Microsoft Windows, you can cycle through all open windows on your desktop by simultaneously pressing the CTRL and the TAB key. Each press will bring a different open window to the foreground. Keep pressing until the email message window comes to the front.
Also, remember that the email links in myUSI only require a single click. Double clicking on a link can refocus the browser to the main window and not the pop-up email application window when it launches.
